She moved to England with Felipe Ehrenberg in the wake of the 1968 student movement in Mexico. With the help of David Mayor, they eventually founded Beau Geste Presse on a farm in Devon. They published eight issues of ''Schmuck'' between 1972 and 1978 in editions of around 550. They also published numerous artists' books by Ehrenberg and others at the Press. The goal of the magazine, and Beau Geste Presse, was to foster international relationships between artists; with Schmuck they dedicated special issues to art from various countries: France Germany, Hungary, Japan, Czechoslovakia, and Iceland.〔(【引用サイトリンク】of 3 )">url=http://www.artic.edu/aic/resources/resource/2427?search_id=1&index=0 )〕 Among the many publications, Artist's Books and Ulises Carrion: personal worlds and Cultural Strategies? has to be mentioned because of its importance not only as an historical document of these productions but also of being the background for the theoretical text, ''The New Art of Making Books'' by Ulises Carrion (visual artist and writer). In this work she, for the first time, was able to describe more acutely the way to perceive and understand Artist's Books. She has continued to carry on all kinds of activities around books and has also taken part in specialized seminars where research of the paradigm of Artist´s Books is still afloat.〔 She is the founder of the Center for Research and Documentation of Artist's Books in Mexico City, a place to present, distribute and disseminate publications, and the base to continue my personal search and laboratory on landscape, nature and music.〔 ==References==
